Couldn’t get your hands on tickets to Pitchfork this Friday? Stuck Downtown without summer hours? Fear not, 9-5ers, you can still hear mega rad tunes…and drink free, too!
FILTER Magazine is hosting a kick ass Pitchfork party with DJ sets from Kid Color and Gemini Club this Friday, July 13th from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM at the Burton Snowboard store in the Gold Coast. After their booty-shaking sets make sure to stick around for Yawn, who, contrary to their name, are anything but boring. The band, made up of four wildcats with a taste for musical adventure, sound akin to psychadellic trailblazers, Animal Collective. Oooo baby! Check out their their trippy music videos and you’ll see what we mean.
