So, I have an addiction to any or all fashion and designer documentaries and films. Admitting that you have a problem is the first step to recovery right? Through April, the Goldstein Museum of Design will be providing me with my next few fashion film fixes with their “Design in the Dark” series.
On the second Thursday of every month, the museum will play host to screenings of what I consider to be a healthy dose of Lagerfeld, Mizrahi, and Valentino. They may have already hosted the Minneapolis preview of “Coco Before Chanel,” but the following are a few more films that you have to look forward to this year:
Novermber 12, 7:00PM – ”Lagerfeld Confidential”
December 10, 7:00PM – ”Unzipped”
January 14, 7:00PM – ”Yves St. Laurent 5 Ave. Marceau 75116 Paris”
February 11, 7:00PM -”Valentino: the Last Emperor”
March 11, 7:00PM – “Seamless”
April 8, 7:00PM – “Helvetica”
To top things off, all films being screened at the Goldstein are free. However, some screenings may be held at area theaters such as Oak Street Cinema, in which case they are then typical ticket prices. Stay tuned to the museum’s website for additional details.
