Push Play: Azealia Banks Makes Trippy Vid With Fafi and Makes All Our 90s Fantasys Come True

“Ya bitch make hits†has never been more accurate than with Azealia Banks’ trippy new visual dropped yesterday for her song, Atlantis.
The video, directed by Fafi, is like a magical land filled with digital Lisa Frank-esque animals, some early 2000s clip-art and lots of screensaver backgrounds. Also, she emerges from the mouth of a shark and straddles a dolphin all the while wearing a giant ass pair of Timbs….So….Yeah. Plus, the hipster hip-hop princess has really been making a ton of Internet noise since her YouTube hit 212 featuring Lazy Jay.
Aside from catching the eye of Alexander Wang last year, gracing the cover of Sping magazine, she has recently confirmed working with megastars Lady Gaga and Kanye West, and though her album, Broke With Expensive Taste, still has yet to drop, we can supposedly expect it in February of next year. If what she has released from her mixtape, Fantasea, is any indication of the expected album, it’s gonna be really awesome.
