Opening reception and viewing party for artist, Anna Kunz, on Sunday February 8th from 3-5pmARTIST BIO:
Anna Kunzrepresents herself locally, but has been previously represented at TheThomas Mc McCormick Gallery in Chicago for nine years. Other galleryassociations include ZGÂ Chicago, Lemberg Gallery,Ferndale, MI, Concept Gallery, Pittsburg, PA and the Tory FolliardGallery in Milwaukee. Her paintings, works on paper and site specificinstallations have been included in numerous national and internationalcollections. Ms. Kunz has had exhibitions in Los Angeles, Houston,Brooklyn, San Antonio and the UK and Poland.
Anna isan instructor of painting and color in the Art and Design Department ofColumbia College of Chicago, and she has taught at the School of theArt Institute of Chicago and Northwestern University. She has beennominated for a Louis Comfort Tiffany Award, and Richard H. DriehausAward. In 2006, she was commissioned by The Department of CulturalAffairs for The City of Chicago’s Public Art Program. Â Anna lives inChicago and keeps a studio in Buchanan Michigan.
