SHOPPING: The Logan Square Vintage Store You Need to Check Out NOW!
BRINK DWELLERS
2344 North Milwaukee Avenue
Chicago, IL 60647
Neighborhood:Â Logan Square
Heading north to Logan Square via Milwaukee Ave. means you are probably en route to one of the new gastropubs or 4 a.m. bars in the ‘hood. Though, in the midst of all the craft beer and gourmet-meat-infused menus is Brink Dwellers, your newest destination for Chicago’s best vintage finds. As much as we hate giving up our secret resale spots, this shop is too good not to share.
The corner space, located on the end cap of the Cole’s/Revolution Brewery/Boiler Room corridor is a ray of light in an area devoid of shopping hot spots. The bright dome lights and exposed brick modernize a space filled with men’s and women’s clothing from the 70s – now and a peppering of retro housewears.
The real showstopper, though, is the wall o’ boots. A floor to ceiling assortment of sumptuous leather footwear at prices everyone can afford. The unworn Tory Burch riding rain boots(that retail for $200) I got for $42 are on my list of scores of the century. Clean design, well-edited wears, and thrift store bargains make this a brink we’re glad to be on.
