Party Dress: New Michael Kors Collection Store Makes A Grand Entrance

The scene was brimming with “Ladies Who Lunch” and the who’s whoof Chicago socialites at the grand opening party for Kors’ new store in the 900North Michigan building Wednesday night. When an iconicdesigner is in thehouse, Chicago shows up and shows off. Guests were dressed to the 9’s,without a hair out of place. Furs, Louboutins, Hermes. Check, check,and check. The same goes for the two stores. Not a thing out of place in theupscale Collection boutique, located in the old Stuart Weitzman spot or themore reasonably priced Lifestyle store down the hall.
The designer himself took a walk down therunway after a presentation of pretty pastels, form-fitting frocks, daringcutouts and totally hunky male models.
Oh, and we can’t forgetabout the Moet. It was flowing.
