I agree that the “hits” are beautiful gowns, but I found them all a bit bridal. Put a veil on their heads and they could be walking down the aisle rather than the red carpet. I felt the same about Nicole Kidman’s and Jessica Beal’s dresses. There were so many white dresses, I felt like anyone wearing color was a breath of fresh air.
I totally though Natalie Portman missed big time too! I love her and Rodarte, but it just did not work. I think it’s the color. Kate Winslet’s over all look is pleasing, but I don’t really like the black doily hanging on half of her. Anne Hathaway killed it.
