Inspiration: Venus In Furs

I’ve had this photo open on my desktop since it was posted on Garance Dore a few days ago.

Something about the way the girl in the photo wears a fur coat with such nonchalance and grace. Unlike most fashionable photos found on street style sites, I actually pretty much own all the items in this photo (except maybe the elegance).

I’ve been holding on to a vintage faux fur coat since the beginning of the season but have been too afraid to wear it. This photo, however, is making me kind of excited to pair my fur coat with black tights and strut my stuff at the bars on Thursday night.
