Everyone in the world has a list that applies to them. You know know you’re Italian when…, You know you’re a slut when…, You know you love cheese when.. Well now, ‘Chicagoans who know’ have another list to look at, the Chicagopedia.
The Chicagopedia, hosted by The Chicago Sun Times, is a funny list of terms that only a true Chicagoan would know. On that list is everything from Jewels and Trixie to Sox Park and 15-20 minutes.
It gave me a laugh, since I use quite a few of the terms on a daily basis.

  • I’ve GOT to send this to my husband. He still can’t stop laughing whenever he hears “Chicagoland area.” Non-natives just don’t understand.
