For the Boys: Obama has options, but Hart Schaffner Marx is his final pick

From left to right: Brooks Brothers, Thom Browne, Nautica, Sean John.
We’ve heard all the hullabaloo about Michelle Obama’s yet unidentified inaugural gown, but the soon to be president has selected Hart Schaffner Marx (who really needs a more elegant website) to make his tuxedo. Barrack, handsome man that he is, has worn their suits almost exclusively and the company has definitely seen a surge in sales since he purchased 6 suits at the beginning of his campaign.
Though he’s already made his choice, it hasn’t stopped other well-known designers from penning their suggestions. My personal fave is probably Rag and Bone. It’s a little irreverent, outrageous and I suppose that’s what I’m hoping for from the man inside the suit. No matter what he dons, we can all breath a sigh of relief that no one’s shoe will be flying his direction- size 10 or otherwise.

I don’t know, there’s something about the Sean John that I really like. It’s very dapper and James Bond-y. Maybe that’s what I’m hoping for from the man in the suit…
