When Tavi Gevinson first started gaining noteriety as a real-deal fashion blogger by big wigs, I was a hater. She was everything I was as a teen – snarky, analytical, pop culture-obsessed, Chicago suburbanite –  EXCEPT she grew up/is growing up in the age where being weird is accepted and the internet is a real thing.  That really pisses me off. Fxcking 90s….Geocities.
But, as time goes on, I have started to realize this mini-woman is the shit. Hardcore awesomeness. She is not just riding the wave of success she is using it to her advantage and working really, really hard to keep her vision going and growing. So, I concede on my hater stance and give mad props.
