Mercadito Turns Two!

River North Mexican restaurant, Mercadito, known for their unique twist on the fare(pineapple guacamole, anyone?!) is celebrating their two year anniversary this month. To kick off the festivities, they held a prix fixe brunch for a few of their favorite frequenters.

A red background with a black border.
“Blanca’s Punch”, made with white wine, brandy, pineapple, and elderflower, were our drinks of choice. To eat, we shared the Huevos con Carnitas, Manchego Cheese Pancakes, Carne Tacos, and Chilaquiles. Note: If the cheesy chip conconction is one of your Mexican brunch staples, prepare your mouth for possibly the best batch it may ever encounter.

The party continues on October 8th with acrobats, DJs, and drink specials. Visit www.mercaditorestaurants.com/chicago for more details.
