Latest Obsession: Girls On Film – The Best Fashion Lookbook Videos Yet!

We all saw the hordes of models stomping the streets of New York in Erin Fetherston’s “Birds of a Feather,” and following in the same footsteps are designers finding new and creative ways to present their collections.
Here are two of the best fashion lookbook videos we’ve seen around the web from Alex & Eli and Sophomore.

Aja Singer, a Toronto native, and Anna Zeman, who hails from Seattle aim to reinvent the suit for modern career women. The duo met at Parsons but, interestingly, both had pursued science degrees—anatomy and cell biology (Aja) and biochemistry (Anna)—before moving to New York to study fashion. Both did high-profile intern- and apprenticeships (Aja at Carolina Herrera, Zac Posen and Marc by Marc Jacobs, Anna at Rodarte and Chado Ralph Rucci) before joining forces in 2009 to launch their collection.

A clothing line inspired by Esprit and Benetton – they were the designer’s favorites as a teen.  Her plan is to dress like that for the rest of her life.
