Politics: I liked Ann Coulter better with her jaw wired shut.

A woman sitting in the grass with her legs crossed.

This week, politics’ most uninformed and malicious blond voiced her ever so useless opinion regarding Chicago’s (and the Fashion Industry’s) own favorite First Lady, Michelle Obama: “Her obvious imitation of Jackie O’s style – theflipped-under hair, the sleeveless A-line dresses, the short strands offake pearls – would have been laughable if done by anyone other than amedia-designated saint.”

Oh come on, Annie C. It’s one thing to critique people in politics based on ideological differences, faulty policy or even bad hair, but critiquing the soon-to-be First Lady on her choice of a fashion icon? Really, Ann Coulter?

Usually I just ignore whatever drivel this insane woman is spouting, but her recent comments criticizing Michelle Obama’s classic and elegant style are just bizerk. Jackie O has been widely regarded as one of America’s most flawlessly fashionable women of the last hundred years, and for good reason. She dressed in a way that suited her demeanor and body type, just as Mrs. Obama has been known to do. Come January 20th, I’ll be anxiously awaiting her next fashion success.
