Lollapalooza 2008: Inside the music lounge

I can’t be happier about the festival season being over(almost). It marks the end of summer, which sucks, but it also marks the end of summer/festival fashion, which couldn’t come soon enough.
Maybe it’s because I love fall and everything that goes with it. There could never be enough cardigans, boots, or scarves in my closet to satisfy me. And the colors, I can’t live without mustard, forest green, and burnt orange. Summer on the other hand…ugh. It’s a free for all of tank tops, dirty flip flops and light colors, none of which are on my list of favorites.
Chicago’s biggest summer festival, by far, is Lollapalooza and I had the pleasure of attending their music lounge in the Hard Rock Hotel(though I never did make it inside the festival). There I had the chance to capture what media, sponsors, and artists were wearing.
All in all, I can say that festivals are not the place to find the fashion elite(as you can tell by the pictures I took outside the gates) but you do see some pretty interesting things.
