On The Runway: Jeremy Scott's Yabba-Dabba-Don't

While I admire the work of Jeremy Scott for its over the top themes and overall wackiness this time around I am not so much of a fan. Jeremy Scott, named number 31 in the Face’s ‘Most Important People in Fashion’ issue, ranked above Alexander McQueen, is known for mixing pop culture into his fashion and this time around I’m thinking went just a little too far. Although Scott’s themes are usually unconventional they somehow always had a wearability factor.
With the end of New York Fashion Week begins London Fashion Week and leave it to Jeremy Scott to start the Halloween season early. Overly themed, models on the Jeremy Scott runway were adorned with bones in their hair and sporting Flinstone style prints and cuts, leaving us to believe that Scott is the newest influential costume designer.

  • I totally agree! I thought this collection was too literal and tacky to boot! However, Halloween is just around the corner….
