Making Fun of The Midwest: Anna Wintour Eats Her Words

I was excited to catch Anna Wintour on 60 Minutes, Sunday evening. I was eager to hear what pearls of wisdom the queen of fashion could pass down. What I did not realize is that the Vogue Editor-in-Chief had recounted a recent trip to the Midwest in the online outtakes of the interview.

“I’d just been on a trip to Minnesota, where I can only kindly describe most of the people I saw as little houses. And I just felt like there’s such an epidemic of obesity in the United States. And for some reason everyone focuses on anorexia.”

Anna may eat her words when she finds out that Minneapolis, MN was ranked in the top 25 fittest cities in the country by Men’s Fitness Magazine She should also keep in mind that New York City came in fifth on “the top fattest cities.â€

Thank you for the concern Anna.

  • I think us fat Minnesotans should just eat Anna Wintour. Though probably very bitter-tasting, I’m sure she’s low-cal since she weighs all of 3 pounds.
