Elise Bergman's FALL 2011 Lookbook Makes Grunge Girly

Elise Bergman FALL 2011 Chicago Fashion Blog

Elise Bergman is the gorgeous, ultra-feminine, Chicago-based clothing line that we become increasingly enamored with each season. Just released is her fall 2011 lookbook shot by local photographer, Caleb Condit. Needless to say, we are in love…again.
This time around, the styling pairs the designer’s signature whimsy – floor-skimming skirts and billowy bishop-sleeves – with masculine combat boots and scrunch socks for a mature grunge-girl look.  But, that is just the tip of the iceberg. What we’re really obsessing over are the dresses. There is a silhouette for every body type, or mood, however you want to look at it. Each one with equal parts every-day-appeal and special-occasion-convention. That’s the beauty of Elise Bergman garments, there are no rules on when or where to wear them. We’ll take one of everything!
If you love these looks as much as we do, you’ll love the designer’s blog, too: elisebergman.blogspot.com. Bergman’s photographs of every day life is reason alone to add the blog to your Google Reader. Her quips on everything from style to sustainability are the icing on the cake and will help keep you occupied until her next collection is released.
