{{Music}} Owl City- out of the Basement and on Tour

No, Owl City is not a rural area of MN, but instead an artist who is starting to sell-out his gigs across the nation. The man behind the electronica-pop sound- Adam Young arose from his basement dwellings in the outskirts of the Twin Cities, to showcase his experimental music. Now Young is traveling the world with his album “Ocean Eyes†and enjoying the taste of success that comes with having the 9th most downloaded album on iTunes, ranked right below Jay-Z’s “The Blue Print 3†and above Taylor Swift’s “Fearless.†Young combines synthesized sounds that for the most part he recorded in his parent’s basement, along with his touch of saccharine and fantasy inspired lyrics.
If you haven’t already purchased his music along with the masses, than take a listen to this tune “Hot Air Balloon†and let us know what you think!
