Cleveland rapper, Kid Cudi has teamed up with Ratatat and MGMT on his new single, “Pursuit of Happiness”. The collaboration makes for a slowed down rap song with great lyrics(I’m on the pursuit of happiness and I know everything that shines ain’t always gonna be gold) and a comparable psychedelic-synthesized beat in the background. You can’t help but chill out when you hear it.
Cudi and crew will perform the track on the “Late Show With David Letterman” Friday, September 11th. [Pitchfork]
