I Love TV: Jimmy vs. Conan

After a few nights of sheer forgetfulness I finally set my mind on watching the new late night show with Jimmy Fallon.
The first few minutes were awkward. Fallon was clearly reading off cue cards and didn’t have the panache of his lanky, red headed predecessor. I continued to watch, mostly becuase I’m so goddammed attracted to him. Jimmy’s not overbearing or egotistical but perfectly nerdy and a little weird. I love that.
As I continued to watch the show I started to laugh(actually LOL) and enjoy the interviews and skits. At the end, I pleasantly accepted that Fallon is no Cone Bone(nor will he ever be) but I think he’s going to work out just fine.
Anyone else been watching? Thoughts?

  • yeah I totally agree…it was an awkward first date, but his interview with Tina Fey was really funny. I think he’s better at this than acting.
