Scent of a Woman
For Christmas I got a new scent, With Love, Hilary Duff. It was from my mom and it came in a cute, little package so I decided to keep it.
I kept it on the shelf for a while, reluctant to wear it, since I love my regular scents. I switch off between Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue and Lanvin Eclat d’Arpege, both are pretty musky and suit my chemistry well.
This weekend, I decided to be a risk taker and try WLHD. It’s a little more girly and vanilla-y, not me at all, but I tried it anyway.
As soon as I walked into my destination, my girl friend noticed the change. Immediately, I thought, “uh oh.”. Then another girl friend walked in and commented, too. Nothing bad was said but it made me feel weird. Almost like I was cheating on my regular scents and everyone knew.
So, my ultimate question is, does scent make the woman or does the woman make the scent?

The woman makes the scent! That being said, a person’s sense of smell is the sense most colosely tied to memory so that could explain why your friends noticed the change right away!
