I’m Over Leather Jackets

And cardigans. And denim jackets for that matter (although, give me a few more days and I’m sure I ‘ll be raving about them).
Now, thanks to the Olsen twins (again!) and the saweet sale onBurberry at Nordstrom last week, I’m all about rocking tuxedo jackets over everything. And it seems like I’m not the only one. The new issue of Teen Vogue (hey, it’s WAY better than it’s big sister) was dripping with all kinds of blazer action.
Personally, I’m thinking blazer, a mini dress, black tights and black supersexy heels is the way to go and just might be my new going out uniform ala’ Daisy Lowe on the red carpet. Or, be super daring and do what I did today. Head to toe black, skinny ankle trousers, black slouchy v-neck, black patent leather oxfords and the slouchy aforementioned Burberry blazer. And yes, all black it is for a professional makeup artist and The MidWasteland’s resident beauty blogger (coming soon!). Kind of a sexy Agyness Deyn meetsTrinity from the Matrix or something. I don’t know.
