it seems that lawrence has a love for feathers…or things inspired by feathers. every hairstyle reminds me of a feather with the choppy layers, bangs and long backs, some are even “feathered.” plus the obvious feather t-shirt and earrings.
I have lived in Lawrence for the last eight years and have been on the forefront of the downtown fashion scene. I don’t recognize a single one of these ‘children’. This is a very very poor representation of the fashion in lawrence. Honestly…this is bad fashion. The hipsters and scenesters in lawrence actually look great most of the time and would stand way-out compared to these kids that are probably from KC.
Go visit the Replay lounge or Taproom next time!!!
