Trendspotting: Socks With Sandals
Going into Fall, there always comes that day, usually a chilly one, that makes us realize it’s time to pack a few things away. Tanks. Shorts. Open-toed shoes. That is, up until recently.
With I insurgence of tights as a trend I found myself putting less and less back into my summer bins. I’d keep out my mini shorts to wear with a wild yellow pair. Or, I’d keep out my tanks to double as vests.
Though it never occurred to me to work my sandals or open-toes into my Fall wardrobe. Even just the thought freaks me out.
But lately, I’ve been noticing more and more runways and editorials featuring the trend. And, I hate to say it but it isn’t just tights, it short socks too!
Is this okay? Why are people letting this happen?
I can’t lie, I used to do it too. But that was back when I was six, so seeing full-blown adults do it is kinda weird.

I have been wanting to rock the socks with heels look but have just been too lazy to experiment with it. Thanks for your post. I’m doing it tonight. I’ll let you know how it goes.
