Chanel Spotting at the Grey Goose Chicago Beach Polo World Cup
We may be Midwest babes but there is something about that East Coast lifestyle that has always made us swoon. Seersucker and lobsters are our general interests on Facebook. Boys wearing chambray and Sperry Top-Siders will always make our hearts melt. So, it’s no suprise that our ears perked up when we heard a Polo match was coming to Chicago.
Since this was the kind of thing we have only seen in our dreams(and on Gossip Girl), we were worried that we would be out of place but, luckily, we weren’t the only girls cheering on the players with the Arsenio whoop-whoop. It wasn’t uptight at all and everyone was dressed relatively casual. Like, $5,000 poncho casual. Still, regardless of anyone’s apparel, everyone was there for the same reasons – to have fun and watch the games(drink Grey Goose).
On the sidelines we doubled the fun with a little game of our own, “Label-Spotting”. Every time we saw Chanel we had to have a glass of Champagne. Let’s just say, it wasn’t that difficult. We think Serena Van Der Woodsen would have been proud.
Great Post!
