Inspiration: Lady Gaga's Bad Romance Video

I’ve been fighting Gaga fever for quite a while now. Sure, I sing along to her songs while I’m driving but beyond that, I’ve kept a safe distance. My slight intrigue began shortly after I saw her Paparazzi video and instantly evolved the moment I laid eyes on her Bad Romance video.
While I do admit I enjoy the music, my new found love for Gaga is more about the way she and her team bring the videos together. The hair, makeup, costumes, dance routines, art direction, and concept are perfection. As a lover of fashion, pop culture, and music I can’t help but love and appreciate the visual seduction these videos provide.
So, if you’ve just HEARD Lady Gaga it’s due time that you SEE her.

She won me over with this video… I mean, how can you deny the force that is McQueen SS/10? Simply amazing. It’s a full-on fashion editorial in motion! Walk, walk, fashion baby…

And PS… Are those dance moves a nod to popular dance crazes of the past or what? Hand Jive, the Twist, Thriller?
PPS… Notice the Alfred Hitchcock references? Psycho, Vertigo, Rear Window?
