Movies: A History of Chicago Punk

You Weren’t There: A History of Chicago Punk 1977-1984 was re-released last week by Factory 25 featuring unseen footage of Negative Element, Right of the Accused, Articles of Faith, Jeff Pezzati and more.
The limited edition film takes a look at the influence of punk rock in Chicago, from DJ’s to promoters, to the punk bands themselves. The limited-edition DVD includes a double sided newsprint poster and a 20 track LP, featuring tracks from Tutu & The Pirates, Naked Raygun, Trial By Fire and many other artists’ in the film. A great film that captures the heart of Chicago Punk.
The DVD is available for purchase from factorytwentyfive.com.
