Chicago: The 'Life Long Work Week' Project

“Life Long Work Week is a project to promote the idea of artist collaboration in a public setting. We plan on taking over retail storefronts, galleries, fairs, and anywhere else people gather.â€
Illinois artists’ Jesse Brown and Chad Kouri take over Chicago area windows as their first experimentation with their project they entitled, ‘Life Long Work Week’. From September 7 to September 13, they will transform Renegade Handmade’s storefront window and turn it into their workspace. Each day will feature a new window along with other pieces within the store.
Renegade Handmade, 1924 Division St, is a shop that features hand-crafted work from over 300 artists. The store offers apparel, accessories, and other handmade products such as art pieces and kitchenware. So if you are in the area, be sure to check out the hanging windows while they lasts and be sure to stop inside and support the handmade work of other artists.
