Opening Ceremony Gets Wild

We might have to wait until October 16th to see one of our childhood favorites hit the big screen but luckily we can get a sneak peek with Opening Ceremony’s ‘Where The Wild Things Are’ collection. Faux fur dresses, rosette textured skirts, and even full bunny jumpers are all a part of the fairytale inspired collection.
Director of the film, Spike Jonze helped work with Opening Ceremony designers to create pieces of the collection that were reminiscent of characters within the movie. One of my personal favorites is the K.W. Boxy Coat, designed to emulate Wild Thing character K.W. and his long-haired coat or fur.
Opening Ceremony successfully incorporates a whimsical fairytale with ready-to-wear fashion to create a collection that will not only bring us back to our childhood but has us warm and cozy this season. Check out the full collection at openingceremony.us and check out the full collection which also includes accessories such as horned headbands, brass and silver feathered cuffs and clawed rings.
