Inspiration: The Traina Sisters

They might not be the characters out of their mother’s novels but Victoria and Vanessa Traina definitely show signs of their rocker roots. Daughters of Danielle Steel, author of famous American romance novels, and the late lead singer of San Francisco punk bands Link 80 and Knowledge, these two sisters are always sure to catch the season’s hottest runway shows and manage to catch the eye of fashion photographers with their mix of simplistic color palette and bold shapes.

Rarely stepping out of their San Francisco home or French beach house overly done up, both Vanessa and Victoria Traina, have a love leather motorcycle jackets and all things black. With tightly slicked back hair or straight-out-of-bed tousled hair these two blend textures with complicatedly structured pieces to put together outfits that can only be described as artistically edgy.
