Latest Obsession: French Fashion Commercials

It’s easy to forget about glamour when you are swimming in a sea of North Face fleece jackets and UGGS the majority of the year. Fortunately, fabulous French commercials have emerged from the houses of Chanel and Dior to inspire and revitalize our summer style. These commercials, basically mini films, paint a brilliant picture of the respective fashion houses. As an added bonus, both spots star two of my favorite French actresses.
The following is the Chanel No. 5 Commercial staring Audrey Tatou (Amélie, Da Vinci Code.)

The Dior mini-film below is an installment of four chapters (with chapter one debuting online today.) Chapter one is a six minute thriller entitled “The Lady Noire Film.†This creative advertisement stars Oscar award-winning actress Marion Cotillard (La Vie en rose, Big Fish.) All I can say is that she is wearing one pair of hot heels in the video!
Stay tuned for chapter’s two through four of “Lady Dior.†It appears as though each chapter is named for the colours which Marion sports- as the next chapter is entitled “Lady Rouge.â€
