Recessionista: Alexander McQueen for Target

Alexander McQueen’s line for Target drops on March 1 (this Sunday!!!) and is in stores until April 11, 2009. The line is a perfectly wearable collection for the edgy sophisticate inspired by the Duke Spirit, an English rock band with a fondness for the late eighties/early nineties grunge sound.
The palate is mostly black, grey and white in modern shapes. Blue or pink pop up in graphic prints, vests are made of leather, jeans are studded and all of the dresses are craveable.
McQueen’s collection is the first in a new fashion series for Target called Designer Collaborations, not to be confused with their Go International brand. This brand focuses on bringing creations from established designers to the masses.
Wait, what’s the difference? Who cares, I’m getting myself some McQueen.
