Finding LOVE

Last week Conde Nast added a new, edgier title, LOVE, to their portfolio of glossies. I still haven’t gotten my hands on a copy, and I am dying to check it out!

British fashion guru Katie Grand, in demand stylist, BFF to the likes of Agyness Deyn, former editor of her own creation, POP, and co-founder of Dazed and Confused…etc, is queen of the LOVE castle. Grand is offering the magazine as a dose of reality, banning sample size models and super-airbrushed images.

Sticking to her word, the premiere issue has a pulpy Beth Ditto, lead singer for Gossip, buck-naked with only a pink puff. The cover’s color scheme and text is so fresh and visually pleasing, I can’t wait to see what’s inside.
