Latest Obsession: Confessions of a Shopaholic

Having been stuck in the winter doldrums since New Year’s Day, it’s no surprise that I feel so in love with the candy-coated colorfest that is the wardrobe from Confessions of a Shopaholic. Patricia Field has outdone herself yet again with this one. Check out Bluefly’s promotional web site for the film, which allows you to thumb through some of the looks from the movie and read what Field has to say about each one.

Normally, I’m not one for these bubbly/happy colors. But since we’ve got a couple more months until the actual sun can warm our spirits, these little confections will do just fine. Besides, it looks like the colors for spring will be from a “thoughtful palette,” according to Leatrice Eisman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute. So get your fun while you can, before we’re all wearing “subtle jewel tones and beige.”
