To Do: Madison 1/30-1/31

1. IQ Disco Tech 1 Year Anniversary Party!
It’s the one year anniversary of the most bangin’ dance party in Madison. The usual mix masters, OCD Automatic and Diamonds, will be there, and IQ’s two favorite guest DJs, Sammy Bananas and Willy Joy, are coming back to totally rock the floor. As usual it’s at the Majestic Theater. Doors open at 9 PM, and a $5 cover starts at 10 PM.
2. Sleeping in The Aviary/ National Beekeepers Society
It’s a free show featuring two of Madison’s coolest local bands! Why wouldn’t you go? The show starts at 9:30 at Der Rathskeller.
3. The Hot Party
After the show is over at Der Rathskeller, head to “the hottest dance assault on global warming” at Cafe Montmartre. It’s $5 at the door and all proceeds benefit weego.org.
4. The Grand Opening of Ironworks Cafe
149 Waubesa St (Goodman Community Center)
There’s a new restaurant in town, and it looks like good eats. In honor of the opening they’re hosting three dinners starting tonight(!) and going through the weekend. It’s open everyday from 5 PM to 10 PM, and price ranges from $7-$15.
