SNEEK PEAK: Chai hits the bulls eye

It’s official. Richard Chai is the next designer for Target’s Go International line.
Chai, a raved, young designer, has worked for Marc Jacobs (he helped develop Marc by Marc Jacobs) and TSE. He launched his own line in 2004 (check out his fall 2008 collection, it’s amazing!) and was an Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation Award winner in 2005.
The diffusion line, which will hit stores in August, translates Chai’s signature designs–modern and minimal with old-world detailing–into affordable pieces just for us. I’m loving the purple, plaid and pleats for fall!
