Oh to be a fly on the wall during the Urban Outfitters creative meeting for the Booty Buddy Blanket.
“Snuggies are REALLY popular right now. They even had their own show at Fashion Week.” “How can we get hipsters to buy them?” “Think, think, think.” “Native American tribal print!?” “Yep, that’s it.”
And that’s how it happened.
The overpriced($68), wannabe-snuggie offered by the trend-conscious retailer is “not only a blanket but an oversized, cozy poncho”. And, unlike the original backwards blanket, this one is topped with an oversized hood. “It’s like the most comfortable hug ever.”

hate to admit it but it’s a MILLION times cuter than a snuggie…. i would totally wear this around the house~!
aww, i love it! i bought it yesterday on sale for $19.99. no way in hell would i ever pay full price for it (or anything else at UO) but i do love my little snuggie wanna-be!!
