Movies: It Might Get Loud

Great things come in three’s: Charlie’s Angels, the trio of Larry, Curly and Moe, the Three Musketeers and now also Jimmy Page with The Edge, and Jack White.
On that note, in a matter of weeks I will be heading to the theaters to check-out “It Might Get Loud†a film which features the intriguing combination of guitar virtuosos listed above. More than your typical jam session, the movie gives us insight into the creative genius and oozing talent of Page (Led Zeppelin,) The Edge (U2,) and White (White Stripes.) As icing on this film’s cake, the documentary is directed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Davis Guggenheim.
“It Might Get Loud†was already released in a handful of cities, and hits Chicago today and Minneapolis on September 18th.
Three definitely equals fantastic company in my book, and in this case, would clearly draw a crowd.
