Bulletproof
No that we’ve all recovered from Lollapalooza, its time to update our playlist. La Roux, an electropop duofrom Britain, may not have been on one of the stages last weekend but they are definitelyworth a spot in your iPod.

Lead vocals Elly Jackson, with her swoopingshort coif and multidimensional wardrobe, says she draws style inspirationfrom such artists as Prince and David Bowie. Along with their colorfullyinfluenced style, La Roux’s music is reminiscent of 80’s eye poppingcolors and geometric themed settings.

Although they are not currentlytouring the U.S. make sure to get a listen to their album for such songsas “Bulletproof,†“In For The Kill,†“Cover My Eyes,†and“Cover My Eyes.â€
