Filling The Gap

In the last few months, the Spanish fashion chain, Zara, has overtaken The Gap to become the world’s largest clothing retailer. The chain’s rapid expansion has brought them into US territory and Chicago is on the list of places Zara will land.
Three stores are already slated to open here over the next year!
The first, at Old Orchard will open in September, right in time to start buying Fall gear. The next two will, of course, be place in the most popular,tourist shopping destinations, State Street and The Mag Mile. Very smart move on their part.
This is exciting for our fashionable Chicago friends. It will be nice to have another fast fashion option, besides Forever 21 and H & M.
