Chicago: Sears Tower becomes Wilis Tower. Boo!

This summer, Chicago’s beloved Sears Tower is getting a name change. The building, Amerca’s tallest, will become known as Willis Tower.

For Chicagoans, the change will only be in name. True residents will most likely continue to call the building by its original name, as we do to many other landmarks that have faced the same fate. That includes Comiskey Park(US Cellular Field) and Marshal Field’s(Macy’s).
