Last Thursday, I had the pleasure of meeting lead singer of the local group Brilliant Pebbles, Monika Bukowska . Before officially being introduced, I was in awe of her amazing outfit, which I was informed was rather dull compared to her usually eccentric wardrobe. To my delight, I was further informed she is part of a band whom will be having their CD release party at Subterranean this Saturday.
Inspired by “polish new wave and Hong Kong pop, sunspot cycles and space opera, Gypsy caravans and Mongol hordes, glittery punks and sweaty divas…” this show is a must see, if not for the music then definitely the fashion.
