Last weekend I participated in “Thrifty Sunday“, one of the many Ladyfest events around the city. For those of you that don’t know, Ladyfest is a local group that promotes women involved in arts and activism.
Thrifty Sunday was a multi-vendor fair that gave gals from around the city the opportunity to sell their vintage clothes and kitschy housewares. A vegan sweet treat sale and fabulous raffle, bearing winnings like natural sanitary napkins, a vibrator and girlie porn were also part of the fem geared festivities.
I told myself that I was there to just to sell, but I couldn’t resist the temptation to buy (what else is new).
